Anju, South Pyongan
Anju-si is a city in the South Pyongan province of North Korea at the coordinates of {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39.62|N|125.66|E||||| | |name= }}. Its population was 240,117 in 2008. The Ch'ongch'on River passes through Anju. Anju lies near large deposits of anthracite coal, and contains one of the largest coal production facilities in the country. The deposits contain more than 130 million metric tons of coal.

Maengjung-ri Station is a railway station in Pakch'ŏn County, North Korea. It is located on the Pyongui Line, which was formed from part of the Gyeongui Line to accommodate the shift of the capital from Seoul to Pyongyang. It was originally opened by the Japanese as Mōchū Station.

Battle of Kujin
The Battle of Kujin (25–26 October 1950), also known as the Battle of the Broken Bridge, took place during the United Nations (UN) offensive towards the Yalu River, which followed the North Korean invasion of South Korea at the start of the Korean War. The battle was fought between Australian forces from 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (3 RAR) and elements of the 17th Tank Brigade of the Korean People's Army over a key bridge across the Taeryong River near Kujin, North Korea.

The Battle of the Ch'ongch'on River, also known as the Battle of the Ch'ongch'on or the Second Phase Campaign Western Sector (Chinese: 第二次战役西线; pinyin: Dì Èr Cì Zhàn Yì Xī Xiàn), was a decisive battle in the Korean War, and it took place from November 25 to December 2, 1950 along the Ch'ongch'on River Valley at the northwestern part of North Korea.
