County Road 178 (Norwegian: Fylkesvei 178 or Fv178) runs between Eltonåsen in Nannestad and Jessheim in Ullensaker, Norway. The road is 11.1 kilometers long. Prior to 1 January 2010, the road was a national road, but after reclassification, it became a county road.

Kløfta
Kløfta is a village located in Ullensaker, Akershus, Norway. It has a population of approximately 6,000 inhabitats. Literally translated, the name means 'the cleft' in English. It probably refers to a junction of three roads heading for Oslo, Trondheim and Kongsvinger. At Kløfta, the road RV2 towards Sweden branches off from the E6. Two railway lines to the north also split here. Norway's main prison, Ullersmo prison, is located in Kløfta.

Kløfta Station
Kløfta Station is a train station at Kløfta which was opened in 1854 as a part of Norways first railway, the Trunk Line between Oslo and Eidsvoll. The station was originally called Kløften, but was renamed to Kløfta in 1920. A new station was built at Kløfta as part of the building of the Gardermoen Line in 1998.
