Geilo Station

Geilo Station is a railway station located at Geilo, Norway. The station is served by up to seven daily express trains operated by Norges Statsbaner. The station was opened as part of Bergensbanen between Bergen and Gulsvik in 1907.

Geilo

is a centre in the municipality of Hol in Norway, in the valley of Hallingdal, with around 2300 inhabitants. The Bergen Line facilitated Geilo's development as the first skiing resort in the country, and it is still one of the largest. It is also famous for having some of the most luxurious and expensive holiday cabins in Norway. Geilo is primarily a ski resort town, but also offers summer activities. Geilo is in a valley with mountain ranges on each side.

Hagafoss

Hagafoss is a village in Hol municipality, Norway. It is located in upper Hallingdal where the road branches off towards Aurland along Riksvei 50. Its main tourist attraction is Hol Bygdemuseum.

Usta (Norway)

Usta or Usteåne is a river in Hol, Buskerud County, Norway. It flows from Lake Ustevatn traveling northeast down the valley of Ustedalen to its confluence with Holselva. The ski resort at Geilo is situated just north of the river, about halfway down Ustedalen valley. The valley stretches about 20 km east from Ustevatn and meetings Holsdalføret below Hagafoss. In 1965 almost all the waters of the Usta was diverted due to the construction of Usta Hydroelectric Power Station.
