Rollag Stave Church
Rollag Stave Church is a stave church in Rollag, Norway. The church is located a few kilometres north of the centre of the village Rollag. It was probably originally built in second half of the 12th century, though not much is left of the original church. Originally, the church has been a simple church with a rectangular nave. It was first mentioned in written sources in 1425. It was rebuilt around 1660 into a cruciform church.

Numedal
Numedal is a traditional district and valley Buskerud, Norway. Running north–south, it extends between Kongsberg in the south to Rødberg in the north, passing through the municipalities of Kongsberg, Flesberg, Rollag and Nore og Uvdal.. The river Numedalslågen, the third-longest in the country, flows through the valley before discharging into Oslofjord at Larvik. As of 1 July 2004 the population of Numedal was 6,631, but the population has been consistently decreasing.

Veggli is a village in the municipality of Rollag, in the county of Buskerud, Norway. It is located in the traditional district and valley of Numedal. Veggli is about 66 miles north of Kongsberg. It is situated on the Numedalslågen River. Its population in 2005 was 292. Veggli Church dates from 1859. It was constructed of wood and timber. Veggli train station on the Numedal Line, which opened in 1927. The line ran from Kongsberg to Rødberg in Nore og Uvdal.

Flesberg stave church
Flesberg stave church (Flesberg stavkirke) is a stave church located in Flesberg, Numedal in Norway. It was probably built around 1200. The first written reference to the church is from 1359. The church was originally a single nave church (type B) with four free-standing internal posts bearing a raised central roof, surrounded by an ambulatory or aisles on all four sides. It had a narrower chancel, also with a raised central roof, and a semicircular apse.
