Uvdal Stave Church
Uvdal Stave Church is situated at Uvdal in Nore and Uvdal municipality, which is in the valley Numedal in Norway. The stave church was originally constructed just after the year 1168, which we know through dendrochronological dating of the pine tree used during the construction. The logs were not completely dry when the construction took place.

Rødberg
Rødberg is the administrative centre of Nore og Uvdal municipality, Norway. Rødberg is located in the Norwegian traditional district and valley of Numedal. Its population (2005) is 468, and it is located on the Rødberg dam on the Numedalslågen River. The local power stations, Rødberg Nore 1 in operation 1928 and Nore 2 in operation since 1946, utilize waterflow from the Rødberg Dam. The plants are affiliated with Statkraft, the Norwegian state owned electricity company.

Skirveggen
Skirveggen (1381 m. ) is the highest mountain in Vegglifjell. The summit lies in Tinn commune in Telemark, but the border with Nore og Uvdal commune in Buskerud is only one hundred metres north-east. The mountain has a steep east flank, the other sides are gently sloped. It has a flat summit, where the actual high point is difficult to make out.
