Vikingskipet ("The Viking Ship"), officially known as Hamar Olympic Hall, is an indoor multi-use sport and event venue in Hamar, Norway. It was built as the speed skating rink for the 1994 Winter Olympics, and has since also hosted events and tournaments in speedway, rally, association football, bandy, ice sledge speed racing, flying disc and track cycling. The arena is also used for concerts, trade fair and the annual computer party The Gathering.

Flakstadelva
Flakstadelva is a river in Hedmark, Norway. Its headwaters lie in the bog areas around Gråberget. From there it runs in a southerly direction and forms the Nybusjøen, which discharges into the Lundsbekken river. The river flows in a v-shaped valley which twists before its mouth on the Lundsbekken. The river's erosion has exposed the lower Cambrian and middle Cambrian rock formations in that region.

Ottestad is a village in the county of Hedmark, Norway. It is located in the municipality of Stange, and is adjacent to Hamar. The densely populated northern parts of Ottestad constitute one of the suburbs of Hamar. About 6.000 people live in Ottestad, which is approximately one third of the total population of Stange. Ottestad is also a family name in Norway taken by the farmers and their children at the Ottestad farm.
