Langfossen
Langfossen is a waterfall located in the municipality of Etne in western Norway. The total fall is around 600 meters, where it leaps out into Åkrafjorden. European route E134 runs along the base of the waterfall, making access very easy. The World Waterfall Database declared this waterfall to be one of the "best in the world". Folgefonna is a collective term for three plateau glaciers in Hardanger, Norway, Nordre (northern) Folgefonna (26 km) Midtre (central) Folgefonna (11 km) Søndre (southern) Folgefonna (167 km), the third largest glacier in the mainland of Norway. In total, Folgefonna covered 207 km in 2006. On 14 May 2005, Folgefonna National Park was established, protecting the glaciers and the surrounding areas. The glacier is home to a summer skiing resort, located on its northern region.
