Mongstad

Mongstad is an industrial site located in the municipalities of Lindås and Austrheim in Hordaland, Norway. The site features an oil refinery for Statoil and other oil companies, including Shell. At Mongstad, Statoil has a crude oil terminal with a capacity of 9.5 million barrels . The port at Mongstad is the largest in Norway, measured in tonnage. Western Norway Emigration Center

Western Norway Emigration Center is a Norwegian American museum located at Sletta on the island of Radøy in Hordaland, Norway, in honour of the Norwegians who emigrated to the United States and Canada. The museum consists of six historical buildings, which were all built by Norwegian emigrants in the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, and removed from Minnesota and North Dakota to Norway.
