Randsfjorden

Randsfjorden is Norway's fourth largest lake with an area of 138 km . Its volume is estimated at just over 7 km, and its greatest depth is 120 metres . The lake is 135 metres above sea level. It is located in the county of Oppland and borders the municipalities of Gran, Jevnaker, Nordre Land, and Søndre Land in the districts of Land and Hadeland. It is drained by the Randselva river.

Tingelstad Old Church

Tingelstad Old Church (Norwegian: Tingelstad gamle kirke), is a Romanesque stone church in Gran, Norway. Dendrochronological dating shows that parts of the timber within the church were felled between 1219-1220. The original name for this church was "St. Petri Church", although presently it is called Tingelstad old church (Tingelstad gamle kirke) as it was replaced by a new church in 1866.

Tingelstad

Tingelstad is a small place in the municipality of Gran in Oppland, Norway. It is located five kilometres from Brandbu, following Norwegian County Road 240, which passes by Tingelstad. Tingelstad is the home of two churches: Tingelstad Old Church and Tingelstad Church, and the museum Hadeland Folkemuseum.

Brandbu

Brandbu is a village in the municipality of Gran in Oppland county, Norway. Brandbu is located in the traditional district of Hadeland. It was earlier known as "Augedalsbro" (Bridge at Augedal). Locals still commonly refer to the village as "Brua" (the bridge). Brandbu was a parish in earlier times and later a municipality of its own. The municipality of Brandbu was merged with the municipality of Gran on January 1, 1962. Today Brandbu is part of the of the urban area called Brandbu/Jaren.
