Norddalsfjorden is a branch of Storfjorden in Norddal and Stranda municipalities in the Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The fjord is 16 kilometres long, when you include the Tafjorden that stretches further east, it is 24 kilometres in total. The fjord's mouth sits to the west between Liabygda on the northern shore and mount Skrednakken on the southern. Further into the fjord there is the village of Eidsdal to the south.

The waterfall is located just south of the historic Knivsflå farm, across the fjord from the old Skageflå farm. The falls are about 6.5 kilometres west of the village of Geiranger.
