Kvernes Stave Church
Kvernes Stave Church is a stave church located along the Kvernesfjord in the village of Kvernes in the municipality of Averøy in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It was probably built in the first half of the 14th century. In 1894, it was put up for sale and was bought by a group of individuals who donated it as a gift to Fortidsminneforeningen. The church is a single-nave church of the "Møre"-type, characterized by central posts in the external wall and crossbeams.

The Freifjord Tunnel is a 5,086-metre long undersea tunnel under the Freifjorden in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The tunnel begins on the island of Frei in the municipality of Kristiansund and then descends 130 metres below the Freifjorden and ends on the island of Bergsøya in the municipality of Gjemnes.

Kristiansund Mainland Connection
The Kristiansund Mainland Connection (Norwegian: Kristiansund fastlandsforbindelse or abbreviated Krifast) is a road system on the highways E39 and 70 that connects the municipality of Kristiansund to the islands of Frei, Bergsøya, and Aspøya to mainland Norway. Krifast opened in 1992 and consists of 25 kilometres of road and 6 kilometres of bicycle paths. The three main structures are the undersea Freifjord Tunnel, the Gjemnessund Bridge, and the Bergsøysund Bridge.

Gjemnessund Bridge
The Gjemnessund Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses the Gjemnessundet strait between the mainland and the island of Bergsøya in the municipality of Gjemnes in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The 1,257-metre long bridge is the longest suspension bridge in Norway, although it does not have the longest span . Gjemnessund Bridge was opened in 1992, and has 21 spans with a maximum clearance to the sea of 43 metres .

Battle of Rastarkalv
The Battle of Rastarkalv (Slaget på Rastarkalv) took place in AD 955 on the island of Frei in the county of Møre og Romsdal, Norway. This was one of several battles between the forces of King Haakon the Good and those of the sons of Eirik Bloodaxe (Eiriksønnene). After their father's death, Harald Greycloak and his brothers were allied against King Haakon with King Harald I of Denmark of Denmark.
