Otrøya
Otrøya (sometimes called Otterøya) is the largest island of the municipality of Midsund in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The 75.5-square-kilometre island sits at the entrance to the Romsdalsfjord. The highest point is Oppstadhornet at 737 metres above sea level. The main settlement is the village of Midsund, on the west end of the island. Other settlements include Nord-Heggdal on the southeast side of the island. The Midsund Bridge connects Otrøya to the island of Midøya to the west.

Midøya
Midøya (sometimes called Mia) is an island in the municipality of Midsund in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It sits at the entrance to the Romsdalsfjord between the islands of Dryna and Otrøya. Until 1965 the island was divided between the municipalities of Sør-Aukra and Vatne. The Midsund Bridge connects the island to Otrøya.

Julsund
Julsundet is a 15-kilometre long strait between the North Atlantic Ocean and the Romsdalsfjord, about 15 minutes west of Molde, Norway. It runs through the municipalities of Fræna, Aukra, Molde, and Midsund, flowing north-south from Bud to Julneset (in Molde). It is between the Romsdal peninsula and the islands of Otrøya and Gossa. The strait is up to 500 metres deep and it is 2 to 3 kilometres (to mi) wide. It has a significant tidal current and is exposed to strong northerly winds.
