Tresfjorden is a fjord in the municipality of Vestnes in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The 12-kilometre long fjord branches off of the Romsdalsfjord near the village of Vestnes, and it stretches south to the village of Tresfjord. The highways E39 and E136 are located along the shoreline of the fjord, but the highway E136 is soon going to be re-routed over a new bridge being constructed across the fjord. Romsdalsfjord is the ninth longest fjord in Norway. It is 88 kilometres long and located in the Romsdal district of Møre og Romsdal county. It flows through the municipalities of Midsund, Haram, Vestnes, Molde, Nesset, and Rauma. The deepest point in the fjord is just southwest of Molde where it is 550 metres deep. The western inlet of the fjord is generally considered to be between Dryna (in Midsund) and Brattvåg (in Haram).

The island lies about 4 kilometres south of the island of Bolsøya and about 1 kilometre west of the island of Veøya. There are no road connections to the 18.7-square-kilometre island except for a ferry connection between the city of Molde and Seterneset on the island.
