Kvam Church

Kvam Church is a parish church in the municipality of Steinkjer in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Kvam, along the lake Snåsavatnet. The church is part of the Kvam parish in the Nord-Innherad deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was designed by Rasmus M. Overrein and built in 1878. It was consecrated on 13 November 1878 by the bishop Andreas Grimelund.

Følling Church

Følling Church is a parish church in the municipality of Steinkjer in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Følling. The church is part of the Følling parish in the Nord-Innherad deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was completed in 1728 with a capacity of about 110 people. During a renovation in 1959, tombs under the church floor were discovered, dating back to the Bronze Age. They also found coins from the 1300s.

For Church

For Church is a parish church in the municipality of Steinkjer in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Stod. The church is part of the Stod parish in the Nord-Innherad deanery in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white stone church was constructed in 1846 using a design by Hans Ditlev Franciscus von Linstow. It was consecrated on 15 October 1846. The building seats about 400 people.

Fossemvatnet

Fossemvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Steinkjer in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The 3.72-square-kilometre lake lies just southwest of the large lake Snåsavatnet which flows into Fossemvatnet on its way to the Trondheimsfjord. The village of Sunnan lies on the northern shore of the lake.

Gilten (lake)

Gilten is a lake in the municipality of Steinkjer (with a small part crossing into neighboring Namdalseid) in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The lake lies in the northern part of Steinkjer in the Kvam area. The lake lies about 1.5 kilometres north of the village of Følling (and the European route E6 highway) and about 14 kilometres east of the village of Namdalseid. The lake is only accessible by road from Namdalseid, even though most of the 31.62-square-kilometre lake lies in Steinkjer.
