Hugla

Hugla is an island in the municipality of Nesna in Nordland county, Norway. The 17.9-square-kilometre island lies south of Tomma and Handnesøya, west of the mainland of Nesna, east of the island of Løkta, and north of the Ranfjorden. The residents of the island live mostly on the eastern coast, across the fjord from Nesna village.

Nesna University College

Nesna University College (Norwegian: Høgskolen i Nesna or HiNe) is a university college, a Norwegian state institution of higher education. It is one of the 24 Norwegian state university colleges, and is located in the municipality of Nesna in Helgeland, Nordland county. It was established in 1918 as Nesna Teachers' College, and was reorganised as a state university college on 1 August 1994 following the university college reform.

Nesna Church

Nesna Church is a parish church in the municipality of Nesna in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Nesna. The church is part of the Nesna parish in the Nord-Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white, wooden church was constructed in 1880 and it seats about 800 people. The Neo-Gothic style church was designed by Niels Stockfleth Darre Eckhoff.

Handnesøya Chapel

Handnesøya Chapel is a chapel in the municipality of Nesna in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Saura on the southeastern shore of the island of Handnesøya. The church is part of the Nesna parish in the Nord-Helgeland deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The wooden chapel was built in 1969, and it seats about 70 people.

Handnesøya

Handnesøya is an island in the municipality of Nesna in Nordland county, Norway. The 34.4-square-kilometre island lies between the islands of Tomma and Hugla and the mainland, along the Sjona fjord. The mountainous island has a very narrow flat area on the east and west sides where the island's residents live. There is a ferry connection to Nesna and Tomma from the village of Handnesneset on the southern tip of the island.
