Dyrøya is a small island in the municipality of Øksnes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located off the west coast of the large island of Langøya in the Vesterålen archipelago. The small islands of Nærøya and Tindsøya lie to the west and the island of Skogsøya lies to the north. The 6.5-square-kilometre island has one village, Barkestad. There are no road connections to the island, so all residents must use boats.

Grønning Church

Grønning Church or Ytre Eidsfjord Church (Norwegian: Grønning kirke / Ytre Eidsfjord kirke) is a parish church in the municipality of Hadsel in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the tiny village of Grønning along the Eidsfjorden on the island of Langøya. The church is part of the Ytre Eidsfjord parish in the Vesterålen deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built to seat about 220 people.

Eidsfjorden (Nordland)

Eidsfjorden is a fjord in the municipalities of Bø, Hadsel, and Sortland in Nordland county, Norway. The 25-kilometre long fjord cuts into the island of Langøya in the Vesterålen archipelago. It branches off of the main Vesterålsfjorden. The innermost part of the fjord is part of Sortland (it was transferred from Hadsel in 1963). The west coast of the outer part belongs to Bø municipality and the eastern coast of the outer part of the fjord belongs to Hadsel.

Øksnes Church

Øksnes Church is a parish church in the municipality of Øksnes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the southern side of the island of Skogsøya. The church is part of the Øksnes parish in the Vesterålen deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1703, and it seats about 450 people.

Skogsøya

Skogsøya is an island in the municipality of Øksnes in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies off the west coast of the large island of Langøya, just 3 kilometres west of the village of Myre. Most of the population lives along the southern coast of the island, where the historic Øksnes Church is located. The administration for Øksnes was historically located on this island, but it was moved to Myre on the main island of Langøya.
