Norwegian Glacier Museum

The Norwegian Glacier Museum is a museum in Fjærland, Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. The museum's stated purpose is to "collect, create and disseminate knowledge about glaciers and climate" — it provides information about the glacier Jostedalsbreen and the Jostedalsbreen National Park and also houses the Ulltveit-Moe Climate Centre. The museum is open from April through October, daily.

The glacier Jostefonn is located in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. It covers an area of around 11 km², in the municipalites Førde, Sogndal and Balestrand. Jostefonn was former a part of the glacier Jostedalsbreen.

Kvinnefossen, sometimes written Kvinnafossen, is a waterfall of the river Kvinna in Leikanger, Norway. County Road 55 runs right past the fall.

Esefjorden

Esefjorden is a fjord arm on the north side of the Sognefjord in the municipality of Balestrand in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The fjord is about 4 kilometres long. On its south side lies the municipal centre of Balestrand. On the north side is the village of Dragsviki, which has ferry connections to Hella in Leikanger and to Vangsnes in Vik. The Tjugum church is located on the shore of the Esefjorden, just east of Dragsviki.

Sogn

Sogn is a traditional district in Western Norway (Vestlandet). It is located in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, surrounding the Sognefjord. Sogn consists of the municipalities of Aurland, Balestrand, Hyllestad, Høyanger, Gulen, Leikanger, Luster, Lærdal, Sogndal, Solund, Vik, and Årdal. The district covers 10,675 square kilometres and contains about 35% of the county's population. The largest urban area in Sogn is Øvre Årdal, with 3,456 residents.
