Lærdal Tunnel
Lærdal Tunnel is a 24.51-kilometre long road tunnel connecting Lærdal and Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane, Norway and located approximately 175–200 kilometres ( ) north-east of Bergen. It is the longest road tunnel in the world succeeding the Gotthard Road Tunnel. The tunnel carries two lanes of European Route E16 and represents the final link on the new main highway connecting Oslo and Bergen without ferry connections and difficult mountain crossings during winter.

Sogn og Fjordane County Road 243
Sogn og Fjordane County Road 243 is a 48.6-kilometer long road which crosses Aurlandsfjellet. The route bypasses the Lærdal Tunnel—the world's longest road tunnel. The barren mountain plateau offers views 600 m down on the Aurlandsfjord. It is designated a National Tourist Route in Norway.

Aurlandsdalen
Aurlandsdalen (or the Aurlandsdal) is a glacially-formed Norwegian valley, about 40 km in length (Geiteryggen-Vassbygdi), situated in Aurland municipality in the inner Sogn. One of the best-known tourist tracks in Norway follows the valley from Geiteryggen just across the border of Hol municipality and north east to Aurlandsvangen at the Aurlandsfjorden in Sogn. The valley narrows and becomes a tight, dramatic Western Norway valley.
