Hommelvik Station is a railway station located in the village of Hommelvik in the municipality of Malvik in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is 23.14 kilometres east of Trondheim. The station is located on the Nordland Line, and it is served hourly by the Trøndelag Commuter Rail service to Steinkjer and Trondheim. The unstaffed station is operated by Norwegian State Railways.

Gevingåsen Tunnel
Gevingåsen Tunnel is a 4.4-kilometre single track railway tunnel between Hommelvik and Hell, Norway, on the Nordland Line. Blasting started in 2009, and the tunnel opened on 15 August 2011, having cost 635 million Norwegian krone (NOK). Built by the Norwegian National Rail Administration, the tunnel has shortened travel time south of Stjørdal by five minutes and increased the capacity of the Trondheim–Stjørdal to four trains per hour in each direction.

Hell Tunnel
Hell Tunnel is a 3,928-metre long road tunnel on the shared section of European route E6 and E14 motorways through Gjevingåsen between the village of Hommelvik in Malvik municipality and the village of Hell in Stjørdal municipality in Norway. The tunnel was opened on 18 October 1995 and is the longest of the four tunnels between Trondheim and Stjørdal. There is a toll plaza on the southeast side of the tunnel. The tunnel was built as part of the Trondheim Toll Scheme.
