Gransherad

Gransherad is a former municipality in Telemark county, Norway, located north-west of the city Notodden. Grandsherred was created in 1860 by the merger of the parishes Hovin in Tinn and Gransherad in Hjartdal. On January 1, 1886 Hovin was separated from Gransherad to form a municipality of its own. The split left Gransherad with a population of 1,393. On 1 January 1964 the district of Øvre Jondalen with 132 inhabitants was moved to Kongsberg in Buskerud county.

Årlifoss Station

Årlifoss Station was a railway station serving Årlifoss in Notodden, Norway on the Tinnoset Line from 1914 to the line closed in 1991. Designed by Thorvald Astrup it opened in 1914 as Aarlifoss. It got the current name in April 1924, but downgraded to a stop on 1 March 1924. On 12 July 1982 it was moved 34 meters and the station building razed. It was closed along with the railway on 1 January 1991.

Hjartdøla

Hjartdøla is a river in Hjartdal municipality in Telemark, Norway. The river is formed at the convergence of Skjesvatnet, Breidvatnet and Bjordøla. From here, it runs through Hjartsjå and Hjartdal, before in Heddal it changes its name to the Heddøla, which runs into Heddalsvatnet. The whole watercourse is known as Skiensvassdraget.
