Sydspissen concentration camp
Sydspissen concentration camp, in Tromsø municipality, Troms, Norway. It was built with slave labor in the summer of 1941 to serve as the primary camp for prisoners in Northern Norway during the Nazi occupation of Norway. The camp ended up being too small for the influx of prisoners and was later moved across the sound to Krøkebærsletta. After the war it was used for prisoners with relations to the succumbed Nazi rule.
