Kvina is a river flowing from the municipality of Valle in Aust-Agder county, and mouthing into Fedafjorden in Kvinesdal, Vest-Agder county. The hydropower is utilized in several power stations, the largest is Tonstad Hydroelectric Power Station in Sirdal. The river passes through the regulated lakes Roskreppfjorden, Øyarvatn, Kvifjorden and Homstølvatnet.

Norway Rock Festival
Norway Rock Festival, formerly known as Kvinesdal Rock Festival, is a rock and metal festival held annually in Kvinesdal, Norway since 2006. The 2007 edition took place on July 12 – July 15. At the 2008 festival, two people were found dead near to a bus. Initial reports suspect carbon monoxide poisoning as being the cause of death. The 2009 edition took place July 9 – July 12. The 2010 edition took place on July 7 - July 11. It is currently unknown if the festival will take place in 2012.
