Snake Gorge
Snake Gorge, also called Wadi Bimah, is a gorge or wadi in the Ad Dakhiliyah Region of Oman. It is popular with hikers. It is a fantastic route for jumping off small cliffs into water pools. There are also natural waterslides. However, it is flashflood prone, and in the 1990's a small group of hikers drowned.

Al Batinah South Governorate
Al Batinah South Governorate is a governorate of Oman. It was created on 28 October 2011 when Al Batinah Region was split into Al Batinah North Governorate and Al Batinah South Governorate. Bilad Sayt is a mountain village in Oman. The village is located on the NE slope of the Hajar Mountains near the highest peak in the Sultanate of Oman, Jebel Shams. Bilad Sayt can be reached through Wadi Al Sahtan and Wadi Bani Awf from NE or via Al Hamra from the SW and is only accessible by 4WD vehicles.
