Al-Ghubra

Al Ghubra is a suburb of Muscat, the capital city of the Sultanate of Oman. It is a developing town with many malls, and hotels and many local businesses. There are a sizeable number of expatriates among the locals. The beach is a long expanse of sand dunes. There are many schools in this area, of many communities. The town is well planned and known for its lake park designed specially with a walk-path and children's play ground.

Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex

Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex also known locally as, Boshar, is a government owned multi-purpose stadium in the Boshar district of Muscat, Oman. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and also has facilities for athletics. The stadium originally had a capacity of over 40,000, but after recent renovations the capacity was reduced to 34,000 people. It is the home stadium of the Oman national football team.

The Ministry of Heritage and Culture (MOHC) is the governmental body in the Sultanate of Oman responsible for promoting and preserving Omani heritage and culture. The current Minister of Heritage and Culture is Haitham bin Tariq Al Said. MOHC has two undersecretaries, the current Undersecretary for Heritage Affairs is Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahruqi and the current Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs is Hamad bin Hilal Al Mamaari.
