Ormara, is a city in Gwadar District in Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is a port city (25° 16' 29N 64° 35' 10E) located in the Makran coastal region. It is located 360 kilometres west of Karachi and 230 kilometres east of Gwadar on the Arabian Sea. This port is also mentioned in Periplus of the Erythraean Sea as Oraea.

PNS Ahsan

The Pakistan Naval Station Ahsan, known as PNS Ahsan, is a Logistics-Intelligence Naval base located in Makran, Balochistan Province. The base is named after legendary naval intelligence officer and former Chief of Naval Staff Vice-Admiral Syed Mohammad Ahsan. The base is currently under controlled by the Pakistan Navy, and the base provides logistics support and surveillance systems operations to ensure the security of Pakistan Navy's infrastructure.
