1935 Balochistan earthquake
The 1935 Balochistan Earthquake occurred on 31 May 1935 at 3:02 am at Quetta, Balochistan, British India (now part of Pakistan). The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.7 Mw and anywhere between 30,000 and 60,000 people died from the impact. This ranks as one of the deadliest earthquakes that hit South Asia.
