Satbani

Satbani is a village and union council (an administrative subdivison) of Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located in Balakot tehsil and lies in an area that was affected by the 2005 Kashmir earthquake. On 3 September 2007, survivors of the earthquake from Satbani, Ghanool, Garlat and Kawai Union Councils organised a protest in Satbani against the authorities for the delay in compensation.

Hilkot

Hilkot is a village and union council (an administrative subdivison) of Mansehra District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located to the north of Mansehra the district capital and south west of Batagram city and lies in an area affected by the 2005 Kashmir earthquake.

Konsh Valley

The Konsh Valley is located on extreme Northern border of the Mansehra district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The town of Battal is considered to be the headquarter of the valley. The Silk Route, also known as the Karakoram highway, passes through it leading to Gilgit. Towns, like Battal, and structures in the area, were severely damaged by the 2005 Kashmir earthquake.

Hangrai

Hangrai is a village and union council (an administrative subdivison) of Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located in the lower Kaghan Valley and lies to the north of Balakot city in an area that was affected by the 2005 Kashmir earthquake. Gujjars are the main tribe living in this UC with a considrabl percentage of Swatis and syeds. The literacy rate is very low. It is the most affected UC in 2005 earthquake.

Balakot

Balakot (بالاکوٹ), is a town in Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The town was destroyed during the 2005 earthquake and was later rebuilt with the assistance of the Government of Pakistan and Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims (SPAPEV), a Saudi relief organisation.
