Ahmadpur Sharqia, also Ahmadpur East is one of the five tehsils (administrative subdivisions) of Bahawalpur District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It's capital is Ahmadpur Sharqia city. "Main Language is Saraiki and in other languages Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi are also spoken here. History: Ahmedpur East was once the Capital of the former princely state of Bahawalpur. Tomb of Bibi Jawindi

The Tomb of Bibi Jawindi is one of the five monuments in Uch Sharif, Pakistan which are on the tentative list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The shrine dates back to 15th century and was built in 1493 by an Iranian prince, Dilshad, for Bibi Jawindi who was the great granddaughter of Jahaniyan Jahangasht, a famous Sufi saint.
