Bahawalpur Airport

Bahawalpur Airport is situated 2 nm (3.7 km) from the city centre of Bahawalpur, in lower Punjab. Khanqah Sharif

Khanqah Sharif is a small village situated west of Bahawalpur District. Its former name was "Bakhshin Di Goth". The new name was given due to the Shrine of Khawaja Mohkum ud Deen Serani. There are two shrines of Khawaja Serani. One in Khanqah Sharif, Pakistan and other is in India. Saraiki is the major language. Urdu, English, Punjabi and Pushto are also spoken.

Bahawalpur Museum

The Bahawalpur Museum, established in 1976, is a museum of archaeology, art, heritage, modern history and religion located in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. It comes under the control of Bahawalpur District Government. The current director of the museum is Hussain Ahmed Madni. The museum is open during 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday, and from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday. The entrance fee is 10 Pakistani rupees per visitor. The Bahawalpur Museum was established in 1974.
