Tando Adam Khan

Tando Adam is a town in Sindh, Pakistan. The city is also called Daran Jo Shehar (درن جو شهر), because it has eight gates in different places. It was in the Nawab Shah District (now known as Shaheed Benazir Abad District) until 1955, after which it was in the Sanghar District. This city was founded by Mir Adam Khan Mari. In Balochi, Tando means "cantonment". Tando Adam is known for its industries and its agriculture; crops raised nearby include sugar cane, wheat, bananas, and mangoes.

Chotiari Dam

Chotiari Dam is an artificial water reservoir situated 35 km away from the Sanghar town in Sanghar District, Sindh, Pakistan. It was constructed in December 2002, at the total cost of Rs 6 billion. The main purpose of construction this dam is discharging saline water of Left Bank Outfall Drain (LBOD). The dam is extended to 24300 acres with storage capacity of 0.75 million acre feet.
