Qiwñaqucha

Qiwñaqucha (Quechua qiwña, qiwuña polylepis, qucha lake, hispanicized spelling Queuñacocha) is a small lake in Peru located in the Urupampa mountain range of the Cusco Region. It is located in the Calca Province, Lares District. The lake is situated north of the mountains Ch'iqun and Siriwani at a height of about 4,170 m. It is 0.2 km long and 0.14 km at its widest point. West of it there is another small lake called Killaqucha.

Killaqucha

Killaqucha (Quechua killa moon, month, qucha lake, "moon lake", hispanicized spelling Quellacocha) is a small lake in the Cusco Region in Peru. It is situated in the Urupampa mountain range at a height of about 4,170 metres (13,680 ft). Killaqucha lies south west of the village Lares and north of the mountains Ch'iqun and Siriwani.

Urubamba, Peru

Urubamba or Urupampa (Quechua "flat land of spiders") is a small town in Peru, located near the Urubamba River under the snow-capped mountain Ch'iqun. Located one hour from Cusco, Urubamba is the largest town in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is also located near a number of significant ruins of the Inca Empire, including Machu Picchu. Tourists often come through the town on their way to visit these sites.
