Mount Guiwan

Mount Guiwan is a mountain in the Sierra Madre range in Alfonso Castañeda, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. It is probably the highest peak of Sierra Madre mountain range with a height of 1,915 meters above sea level according to NAMRIA topographic map. Bugkalots have long established trails which they use when hunting. No scientific survey has yet been conducted in the area but recent expedition to the mountain by the Nueva Vizcaya Mountaineering Society, Inc.

Baler Bay

Baler Bay is a bay in the northeastern part of Luzon island, Philippines. It is an extension of the Philippine Sea and bordered by four municipalities of Aurora Province. From mid September to early March, Baler Bay is known for its great surfing conditions. The movie Apocalypse Now, which was filmed there in 1976, introduced the sport to the area, and its production crew even left behind several surfboards for the locals to use.
