University of the East Caloocan

The University of the East Caloocan Campus (UE-Caloocan) is a private university in Caloocan City, Philippines. The university is one of the three campuses of the University of the East. An autonomous unit headed by a Chancellor, with the College of Business Administration, Arts and Sciences, Engineering, and Fine Arts. UE Caloocan is called Caloocan Campus to distinguish it from the Manila Campus on C.M. Recto Avenue.

Monumento LRT Station

Monumento LRT Station is a station on the Manila LRT Yellow Line (LRT-1). Like all other LRT-1 stations, Monumento terminal is above-ground. The station serves the southern portion of Caloocan City, and is named after the most famous landmark of Caloocan, the Monumento Circle, which houses the Bonifacio Monument, a famous monument to Andrés Bonifacio. The name Monumento itself is derived from the Spanish word for monument. Being one of four major stops in LRT-1, it is called Monumento Terminal.
