Tambacan, Iligan

Tambacan is one of the 44 barangays of Iligan, a city about 795 kilometres southeast of Manila in the Philippines. It is south of Iligan's central business district, Barangay Poblacion. Japanese destroyer Asakaze (1922)

Japanese destroyer Asakaze was the second of nine Kamikaze-class destroyers built for the Imperial Japanese Navy following World War I. Advanced for their time, these ships served as first-line destroyers through the 1930s, but were considered obsolescent by the start of the Pacific War.

USS Harder (SS-257)

, a Gato-class submarine, was the first ship of the United States Navy to be named for the harder, a fish of the mullet family found off South Africa. One of the most famous submarines of World War II, she received the Presidential Unit Citation. Her skipper, the resolute and resourceful Commander (Cmdr) Samuel D. Dealey (1906–1944), "a submariner's submariner", was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.

Japanese cruiser Kumano

Kumano (熊野) was one of four Mogami-class heavy cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy. She was completed at the Kawasaki Shipyard in Kobe on 31 October 1937. She displaced 13,440 long tons with a length of 649 ft 10 in and a beam of 66 ft 3 in, and had a top speed of 35 kn .
