It lies approximately 4 kilometres west of Poniec, 23 km south-west of Gostyń, and 73 km south of the regional capital Poznań. In 2006 it had a population of approximately 160. It was formerly in Leszno Voivodeship (1975–1998). The village is locally known for its early Renaissance church.

Poniec

Poniec is a town situated in the southern part of the Greater Poland Voivodeship (since 1999), formerly in Leszno Voivodeship (1975-1998), in Poland. The town has about 3,000 inhabitants. It is the capital of a commune in Gostyń County. The Battle of Punitz occurred nearby on 28 October 1704 during the Great Northern War.
