The Polish Corridor, also known as Danzig Corridor, Corridor to the Sea or Gdańsk Corridor, was a territory located in the region of Pomerelia, which provided the Second Republic of Poland (1920–1939) with access to the Baltic Sea, thus dividing the bulk of Germany from the province of East Prussia. Żukowo
Żukowo is a town in Kartuzy County, in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of northern Poland, with 6,236 inhabitants (2005). It is located along the Radunia river in the historic Pomerelia region, about 19 km southwest of Gdańsk. It is one of the youngest towns in Poland, having received its city charter in 1989, and a cultural centre of the Kashubians. Żukowo was the site of a Premonstratensian (Norbertine) monastery established about 1209 by Duke Mestwin I of Pomerania.
