Estádio Municipal Sérgio Conceição (Sérgio Conceição Municipal Stadium) is a football (soccer) stadium in Taveiro, in the city of Coimbra, Portugal. Built in 2002, it has 2500 seats and was named after Sérgio Conceição, a football player born in Coimbra. The stadium belongs to the municipality of Coimbra and is the home ground for the football teams of two local sports clubs: Clube de Futebol União de Coimbra and União Desportiva Taveirense.

Condeixa-a-Nova Municipality

Condeixa-a-Nova, also known as Condeixa, is a town and a municipality in the district of Coimbra, Portugal. It is located 15 km south of Coimbra, and in the Greater Metropolitan Area of Coimbra. The town is known for the ancient Roman settlement of Conímbriga which is located nearby, and includes a museum and the well-preserved ruins.

Conímbriga

Conímbriga is one of the largest Roman settlements in Portugal, and is classified as a National Monument. Conímbriga lies 16 km from Coimbra and less than 2 km from Condeixa-a-Nova. The site also has a museum that displays objects found by archaeologists during their excavations, including coins and surgical tools. A restaurant/café is in the museum, which also has a gift shop.

Monastery of Santa Cruz (Coimbra)

The Santa Cruz Monastery,, best known as Igreja (Church) de Santa Cruz is a National Monument in Coimbra, Portugal. Because the first two kings of Portugal are buried in the church it was granted the status of National Pantheon. Founded in 1131 outside the protecting walls of Coimbra, the Santa Cruz Monastery was the most important monastic house during the early days of the Portuguese monarchy. St. Theotonius founded this community of canons regular and served as their first prior.
