Bajadero, Puerto Rico

Bajadero is a barrio of Arecibo, Puerto Rico. It is known for its class B baseball team, the Atleticos of Bajadero. Bajadero has its own post office and a joint elementary and intermediate school, Ramon Emeterio Betancez. 32x28px Puerto Rico portal The name Bajadero comes from the 1940s when women would go to the river to do their laundry. Cueva Ventana

Cueva Ventana (English: "Cave Window") is a large cave situated atop a limestone cliff in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The cave overlooks the Río Grande de Arecibo valley. It is visible from PR-123 but is accessible from a trail that begins adjacent to a Texaco gas station located along PR-10.

Lago Dos Bocas

Lago Dos Bocas is a lake located in the municipalities of Arecibo and Utuado on the island of Puerto Rico. The lake was created in 1942 when a dam was constructed by the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority for a hydroelectric power plant. It also serves as one of the island's potable water reservoirs. In recent years, silt has accumulated in the lake causing capacity to shrink. Silt has also made some portions of the land inaccessible by boat.

Estadio Luis Rodríguez Olmo

Estadio Luis Rodríguez Olmo is a multi-use stadium in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. It is currently used mostly for baseball games and is the home of Lobos de Arecibo. The stadium holds 9,000 people.
