Hacienda Gripiñas

Hacienda Gripiñas is a lodging located in the town of Jayuya, Puerto Rico. In 1863, Don Eusebio Pérez del Castillo established the Gripiñas hacienda in the sector of Gripiñas, barrio of Yeguitas, Jayuya. Gripiñas dedicated itself to the plantation of coffee and contributed to the growth of this industry in the island during the 19th century. Pérez and his wife died in the last years of the 19th Century, as the coffee plantation industry decayed in the island.

Río Anón

Río Anón is a river in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Río Anón is one of 13 rivers in the municipality of Ponce and, at 1,060 feet, it is also the third with the highest river mouth location, after Río Prieto and Río Blanco, both of which have their mouths at 1,381 feet . Río Anón is a tributary of Río Inabón. It has a length of approximately 4 kilometers and generally runs south. It has both its origin and its mouth in Barrio Anón.

Rio Cerrillos

Río Cerrillos is a river in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Río Cerrillos has its origin in barrio Anón and runs south until it feeds into Río Bucaná. Río Cerrillos is commonly known by the locals as Río Maragüez, because most of its course runs through Barrio Maragüez. This river is one of the 14 rivers in the municipality. The river has a discharge of 24,000 cubic feet per second, making it the second most affluent river in the municipality after Rio Jacaguas.
