Café Rico

Café Rico is a Puerto Rican corporation that manufactures coffee branded by the same name. The company's headquarters are located in Barrio San Antón in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico, on Las Americas Avenue/Route 163 and Calle Comercio/Route 133. The company used to be called Cooperativa de Cafeteros (Coffee-growers Cooperative). Its coffee has been reported to be Puerto Rico's best and its San Carlos Selection is said to have been the Vatican's favorite coffee at one time.

San Antón

San Antón is one of the 31 barrios of the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Along with Canas Urbano, Machuelo Abajo, Magueyes Urbano, and Portugués Urbano, San Antón is one of the municipality's five originally rural barrios that are now also part of the urban zone of the city of Ponce. It is totally enclosed within the Ponce city limits. San Antón is one of Ponce's oldest barrios. It is believed that this is where Spanish colonists first settled. It sits on the western bank of Rio Portugues.
