Yuryuzan River
Yuryuzan River is a river in the Republic of Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk Oblast in Russia, a left tributary of the Ufa River. The length of the river is 404 kilometers . The area of its basin is 7,240 square kilometers . The Yuryuzan River flows into the Pavlovskoye Reservoir near Karaidel. It freezes up in the second half of October – early December and stays under the ice until April. The river is navigable within the first 16 kilometers of its estuary.

Mount Yamantau
Mount Yamantau is in the Ural Mountains, Bashkortostan, Russia. The name means bad (evil) mountain in the Bashkir language (Яман тау). It is also known as Mount Yamantaw. It stands at 1,640 metres (5,381 ft) and is the highest mountain in the southern Urals. Along with Kosvinsky Mountain (600 km to the north), it is suspected by the United States of being a large secret nuclear facility and/or bunker. The closed military town of Mezhgorye is situated nearby.
