Mglin

Mglin is a town and the administrative center of Mglinsky District of Bryansk Oblast, Russia, located on the Sudynka River 167 kilometers west of Bryansk. Population: 7,916; 8,261; 7,704. Mglin was first mentioned in 1389, though the settlement it was built on had existed since the 12th century. Its main landmark is the Assumption Cathedral (1815–30, Neoclassicism).
