The Anish is a river in Tsivilsky and Kozlovsky Districts of the Republic of Chuvashia, Russia, a right-bank tributary of the Volga River. Its length is 60.7 kilometers and its drainage basin is 904 square kilometers . It falls to the Kuybyshev Reservoir, Volga, near Kozlovka.

Tsivilsk

Tsivilsk is a town and the administrative center of Tsivilsky District of the Chuvash Republic, Russia, located 37 kilometers from the republic's capital city of Cheboksary, at the crossroads of the highways from Nizhny Novgorod to Kazan and from Tsivilsk to Ulyanovsk. Population: 13,479; 12,967; 10,053. There is a 350-meter tall guyed mast used for FM- and TV-broadcasting in the town.

Tsivil River

The Great Tsivil (Russian: Большо́й Циви́ль, Bolshoy Tsivil'; Chuvash: Мăн Çавал, Măn Şaval) or simply Tsivil in its lower course (also spelled Civil) is a river in Chuvashia, Russian Federation, a right tributary of the Volga River. Tsivil is 55 km long, its watershed area is 4,658 km . Near Tsivilsk the Little Tsivil joins the Great Tsivil, forming Tsivil river, which flows into the Volga near Novocheboksarsk. Other major tributaries are Unga and Kunagar Rivers.
