Jūra

The Jūra is a river in western Lithuania and a right tributary of the Nemunas. It mostly follows a meandering and natural course, although two concrete dams of hydroelectric power plants prevent paddling, as do dense vegetation in its upper reaches and large stones. The river's name comes from the Lithuanian word jūra, which means "sea". Towns on the Jūra include Tauragė, Rietavas, Kvėdarna, and Pajūris.

Šešupė River

The Šešupė is a river which flows through Poland (27 km), Lithuania (158 km), and Russia (62 km). The river flows for 51 km along the border between the Kaliningrad Oblast, an enclave of Russia, and Lithuania. The Šešupė flows into the Neman River near the town of Neman .

Rambynas Regional Park

Rambynas Regional Park is one of the Regional Parks in Lithuania, situated at Pagėgiai municipality in Neman bend, near the border with Kaliningrad Oblast. The park was founded in 1992, its area amounts for 4,786 ha. The park contains several reserves established to protect both the nature and ethnographic values. Rambynas hill also belongs to the park territory. In the nearby Vilkiškiai town, a number of old buildings represtenting the typical architecture of the area still exist.

Rambynas

Rambynas is a hill (about 46 metres high) in western Lithuania, on the bank of the Neman River. Across the river is Russian exclave of Kaliningrad Oblast. The hill belongs to the territory of Rambynas Regional Park. The nearby larger city is Pagėgiai and Tauragė in Lithuania, Neman and Sovetsk in Kaliningrad Oblast. The hill is thought to have been the place of ancient Skalvian fort, destroyed by the Teutonic Knights in 1276. Later it was used for religious ceremonies of pagan Lithuanians.

Tilse

The Tilse (from tilszus, meaning "swampy") is a 27 km long river in the former East Prussia discharging into the Neman at Sovetsk which until 1946 was called Tilsit in accordance with it.
