Maysionvara is a former air base in Russia located 22 km north of Suojarvi. It was shown on the 1974 version of Department of Defense Global Navigation Chart No. 3 as having jet facilities. Almost nothing remains according to Google Earth and there is little evidence that anything was here.

Suoyarvi
Suoyarvi is a town and the administrative center of Suoyarvsky District of the Republic of Karelia, Russia, located 140 kilometers northwest of Petrozavodsk. Population: 9,766; 11,600; 11,772. Town status was granted to it in 1940. Suojärvi was the second largest town (by area, after Petsamo) ceded by Finland to the Soviet Union after the Continuation War in 1944.
