Coastal Monastery of St. Sergius

The Coastal Monastery of St. Sergius (Сергиева Приморская пустынь) is a Russian Orthodox monastery in the coastal settlement of Strelna near St. Petersburg. It used to be one of the richest monasteries of the Russian Empire and formerly contained seven churches as well as many chapels.

Gothic Chapel (Peterhof)

Gothic Chapel in Peterhof is an Orthodox church in the name of Saint Alexander Nevsky situated in the Alexandria Park of Petergof, Russia. It was designed at the request of Nicholas I of Russia by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in Gothic Revival style in 1829 and consecrated in July 1834. Prior to the Russian Revolution of 1917 this Gothic structure functioned as the private family church of the House of Romanov.

Gorelovo (air base)

Gorelovo (also Annino) was an air base in Leningrad Oblast, Russia located 23 km southwest of Saint Petersburg, located 10 km west of Pulkovo Airport. Today it has only 100 stored Mi-8 helicopters and one active An-26. It may have been named Gorelovo during the Cold War and renamed to Annino in the early 1990s.

Peterhof Palace

The Peterhof Palace is a series of palaces and gardens located in Saint Petersburg, Russia, laid out on the orders of Peter the Great. These Palaces and gardens are sometimes referred as the "Russian Versailles". The palace-ensemble along with the city centre is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
