Pervomayskoye is a rural locality (a logging depot settlement) in Vyborgsky District of Leningrad Oblast, Russia, located on the Karelian Isthmus, 60 kilometers northwest of St.  Petersburg. It serves as the administrative center of Pervomayskoye Settlement Municipal Formation—an administrative division of the district—as well as of Pervomayskoye Rural Settlement, which that administrative division is municipally incorporated as. Shelling of Mainila

The Shelling of Mainila was a military incident on November 26, 1939, where the Soviet Union's Red Army shelled the Russian village of Mainila, declared that the fire originated from Finland across a nearby border and claimed losses in personnel. Through that false flag operation the Soviet Union gained a great propaganda boost and a casus belli for launching the Winter War four days later.

Roshchino

Roshchino, Raivola before 1948, is an urban locality in Vyborgsky District of Leningrad Oblast, Russia, and a station on the Saint Petersburg-Vyborg railroad. It is situated on the Karelian Isthmus 60 kilometers northwest of St.  Petersburg, approximately halfway to Vyborg. Population: 13,439; 9,393; 8,436. In the wooded areas surrounding Roshchino there are multiple marshes and small lakes. Lintula larch forest is located some 3 kilometers to the west from the railroad station.

Komarovo is a municipal settlement in Kurortny District of the federal city of Saint Petersburg, Russia, located on the Karelian Isthmus on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, and a station of the Saint Petersburg-Vyborg railroad. It is located about 45 kilometers northwest of central Saint Petersburg. Population: 1,257; 1,062; 1,635. During the summer months, the population increases five to six times.
