Russian battlecruiser Admiral Lazarev

Admiral Lazarev (Адмирал Лазарев) is the second Kirov class battlecruiser. Until 1992 she was named Frunze (Фрунзе) after Bolshevik leader Mikhail Frunze; at that time she was renamed after Russian admiral Mikhail Petrovich Lazarev. She was laid down on July 27, 1978 at Baltiysky Naval Shipyard, Leningrad, launched on May 26, 1981, and commissioned on October 31, 1984. In December 1984 she joined the Soviet Navy's Pacific Fleet. The following summer she visited Luanda, Aden, and Vietnam.

Soviet command ship SSV-33

SSV-33 Ural (ССВ-33 Урал) was a command and control ship operated by the Soviet Navy. SSV-33's hull was derived from that of the nuclear powered Kirov class battlecruisers. SSV-33 served in electronic intelligence, missile tracking, space tracking, and communications relay roles. Due to high operating costs, SSV-33 was laid up. The on board radio reconnaissance system was called "Coral", this involved two computer types: "Elbrus" and several "EC-1046" computers.

Ussuri Bay

Ussuri Bay is the north-eastern part of the Peter the Great Gulf. It is 67 km long and 10–55 km wide. Its average depth is approximately 40 m (max 69 m). Ussuri Bay is a popular recreation area in Primorsky Krai. Vladivostok is situated on a western coast of the bay, and Bolshoy Kamen on an eastern. Other settlements are Shkotovo, Yemar and Pod'yapolskoye. The Eastern Bosphorus connects Amur Bay and Ussuri Bay. Artemovka, Shkotovka, Sukhodol, Petrovka rivers flow into Ussuri Bay.
