Nizhnekamsk Reservoir

Lower Kama Reservoir or Nizhnekamsk Reservoir is the lowest reservoir from the Kama River hydroelectric cascade. It is situated in Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Bashkortostan and Perm Krai, Russian Federation. The reservoir was filled in 1978-81 up to 62 m above sea level after the construction of dam of the Lower Kama Hydroelectric Station. The water level in reservoir depends on the upper reservoirs regime.

Tukayevsky District

Tukayevsky District is an administrative and municipal district, one of the forty-three in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the republic. The area of the district is 1,744 square kilometers . Its administrative center is the city of Naberezhnye Chelny (which is not administratively a part of the district). Population: 36,561; 29,864; 27,334.
