Apolima Tai
Apolima Tai is a small village settlement on the tiny volcanic island of Apolima in Samoa. The village is situated on the north side of the islet which is in the political district of Aiga-i-le-Tai. The village population is 75 (2006 Census). Apolima island is one of three isles in the Apolima Strait lying between the country's two main islands Upolu and Savai'i. The other islands in the strait are Manono which has four village settlements and the tiny uninhabited islet of Nu'ulopa.

Apolima
Apolima is the smallest of the four inhabited islands of Samoa and situated in the Apolima Strait, between the country's two largest islands Upolu to the east and Savai'i to the west. The island has one village settlement, Apolima Tai with a population of 75 (2006 Census). The small settlement is situated in the interior's flat plateau on the northern side. Apolima is a rim of an extinct volcanic crater with a maximum height of 165 m.

Apolima Strait
The Apolima Strait is about 13 km wide and separates the two largest islands of Samoa, the island of Savai'i to the northwest, and Upolu to the southeast. Three small islands lie in the strait, Manono and Apolima, which have small village settlements and tiny uninhabited islet Nu'ulopa. Manono is about 3 miles off the west coast of Upolu and Apolima lies approximately near the middle of the strait. Nu'ulopa is a tiny rocky outcrop with palm trees and surrounded by a natural turtle habitat.

Nu'ulopa
Nu'ulopa is a small uninhabited island in the Apolima Strait between the islands of Upolu and Savai'i in Samoa. The island is part of Aiga-i-le-Tai district. Nu'ulopa is about 50m high. It is also a small forested rocky outcrop with coconut palms (Cocos nucifera) and a conservation area for flying foxes. The surrounding sea is a conservation area for turtles. Nu'ulopa sits between another two islands Apolima and Manono.

Lepuia'i
Lepuia'i is one of four small villages on Manono Island in Samoa. The village population is 223 (2006 Census). The other villages on Manono island are Apai, Faleu and Salua. All the settlements on Manono Island fall within the political district of Aiga-i-le-Tai. Manono island is one of three isles in the Apolima Strait separating the country's two main islands Upolu and Savai'i. The other islands in the strait are Apolima and the tiny uninhabited islet of Nu'ulopa.
